Adam Laverack
Owner and GC
Adam has been working in the construction industry for over 20 years. He has been building single family homes since 2006. Structural integrity, quality construction, and transparency are the principles that he approaches every project with and has made them the cornerstone of Ballast Design Build.
When not running Ballast, Adam enjoys reading, archery and other outdoor activities.
Carlos Vela
Construction Superintendent and Quality Control
A valuable member of the Ballast Team, Carlos is known for his attention to detail and high level of organization. He is also an excellent communicator, sharing information efficiently with both clients and subcontractors,
In his free time, Carlos enjoys refurbishing old cars, gardening, and spending time with his family. He has been a part of the Ballast team since 2019.
Kevin Hernandez
Assistant Supervisor and Quality Control
Kevin is an integral part of our team and serves as Carlos’ “right hand man”. He helps to keep things moving and make sure quality is high, no matter what tasks are being performed.
When he is not on a job site, Kevin can often be found on the soccer field or relaxing with a book. He has been with Ballast since 2021.
